It can start as a whisper, a blush on the cheeks, or some people sitting up straight in their chairs: what one would not usually say out loud to their colleagues, family, or even to oneself, suddenly becomes shared freely within a confidential space. Jørgen has the ability to recognize what is unspoken, yet needs to be heard.
Jørgen’s attentiveness extends beyond the words of the participants, but extends also to the vibrations in their tone of voice, and the underlying resonance that may shift an octave when they are emotionally moved. "What happened?" Some may retain some uncertainty when the session ends, but most feel a sense of release, having shed a burden that once weighed heavily on them.
Leaders may feel challenged and defensive when confronted with aspects of themselves that are not immediately flattering. Jørgen, however, has a unique ability to bring calm to the situation - he asks questions, guides with his knowledge and experience, and clarifies the underlying longing that may be driving the behavior. This helps new facets of leadership to emerge, which can be both liberating and transformative for everyone involved, and opens up possibilities that were not previously possible.
