Catalyst

The art of transforming relations, teams and organisations

“Often you don't learn that much from leadership courses but with re:lead I have experienced how effectfull a leadership course can be.

Usually, a large part of the value lays in the informal evening activities but here, there was value and trust-building throughout the whole process.”

– Tom Heron, CEO, Niras

Are you ready to become a Catalyst?

The Catalyst course has been developed with managers in mind, who want to develop their ability to realise potential, concepts and models for leadership, as well as organisational development in practice.

The target group includes:

Experienced managers and management consultants, with extensive experience and good conceptual understanding of leadership and transformation in companies.

Senior Managers/directors who lead larger, complex projects, where creating developmental dynamics and interaction in the project’s organisation and stakeholders is crucial for success.

HR Professionals (internal and external) who play active roles in catalysing the development and transformation of organisational cultures, interaction and management dynamics in companies and organisations.

The philosophy of being a catalyst

The dynamics of interaction between people is, for most, a very noticeable, but invisible component. Being able to see and transform the dynamics of relationships, teams and organisations is a management skill that is becoming increasingly more crucial.

The effect of it is unmistakable: there are relationships, teams and organisations that are developed, deliver results, achieve synergies and in every way are fantastic to be a part of.

In an increasingly complex and unpredictable world, it is crucial that leaders manage to inspire the first type of 'developing' teams and organisations and know how to counter tendencies towards the last two types, respectively. settlement and maintenance teams and organisations.

This task requires a different approach to leadership than the classic virtues of setting direction, creating a framework, organising, and making difficult decisions.

Catalyst is designed to equip managers and consultants with the skills to meet this task in practice. This means that you, as a manager or consultant, gain deeper insight into complex human contexts and develop your capacity to accommodate and "be in" fields of tension. You also get to build your personal repertoire of possible interventions that you can use to change or accelerate a developmental 'here and now' in the relationships and teams you are in.

For you

This course trains you to lead and catalyse developmental relationships and interactions:

  • Increase efficiency in teams and relationships, internal as well as external

  • Be able to resolve conflicts in the company by increasing understanding of the dynamics of relationships

  • Increase the ability to practise effective leadership in unpredictable and complex circumstances

  • Strengthen the company's readiness for change, through expanded capacity to work "tension" driven

  • Build a developing culture of interaction, which promotes the company's ability to create results and the growth of the company's teams and employees

  • Reduce costs for external coaches and management consultants, through building internal capacity to facilitate and catalyze development processes

For your organisation

The course is distinctly practice-oriented. Participating managers and consultants will promote value creation in their company by:

  • You will gain deep insight and practical training in creating development in individuals, groups and organisations. Through this, you gain the ability to unleash human and result-creating potential

  • You strengthen your skills to create and operate purpose-driven self-organisation and 'teams of teams' structures as a manager or consultant.

  • You develop your ability to lead and catalyse processes that create a deeper level of trust, thereby promoting the capacity of individuals and groups to embrace difference and process sensitive and conflictual tensions in ways that create increased engagement, resulting in better decisions and results.

  • The course gives you insight and understanding into basic psychological and group dynamic contexts.

  • You get the opportunity to understand and process your own personal relational patterns and themes, which is a prerequisite for you to be present and at the same time maintain an overview and perspective as a leader of group processes: also when your own personal themes are at play.

Pratical information

The course costs DKK 95,000 excl. VAT, and includes board and lodging as well as online teaching materials.
